Projects
As mentioned previously, a Project is just Apple-speak for a movie. To create a project, go to File >> New Project, or Apple-N, or click on the "+" button underneath the Projects Library.
A window will pop up asking you what aspect ratio you want for your movie.
- Widescreen (16:9) The default choice. This is the ratio used in HDTVs.
- iPhone (3:2) By providing this as a choice, Apple is either ahead of the cry for technology or is missing it altogether. Time will tell.
- Standard (4:3) This is the plain-Jane version. Standard TVs and YouTube are both generally in this ratio.
After you've chosen your aspect ratio and have typed a new Project Name, click Create.
