iSchool Student Giving Campaign

iSchool Student GivingGive hours - Help the community - Make connections - Show your iSchool spirit

In Conjunction with the University’s Capital Campaign, the iSchool student body is making a philanthropic contribution: giving our time to help the community.

The iSchool Challenge:

Get 25% of current iSchool students to donate 2 or more hours of their time to a community service project for a cause unrelated to a class requirement. Hours you have already completed this semester will contribute to the student body goal.

Benefits to Students:

  • Make a difference in the community
  • Network with professionals and make career connections
  • Build your resume
  • Increase community awareness of the iSchool

What Counts as Community Service?

In this campaign, we will include any type of community service our students engage in throughout the semester until December 18th. We will also include service hours required through class.

How Do I find Service Opportunities?

We have partnered with Austin Public Libraries to provide opportunities that range from all interests. Search the iSchool Career Services website for a complete list of volunteer opportunities.

Already have volunteer hours under your belt for the semester?
